Mud needs room to escape. The X-MT pairs an open X-shaped tread with mud-and-stone ejectors to help keep the pattern working as the ground changes. Deep blocks, siping and staggered shoulders add biting edges across loose and uneven surfaces. Between tracks, a variable three-pitch layout helps manage road noise and vibration.
